Local
Local makes it easy to develop Wordpress sites locally. Some key features:
- Easy import and export of projects
- Live links
- Sync projects with our servers at WP-Engine
Node JS
In order to use this theme, you also need Node JS installed. With the Node Package Manager, you will be able to download and use the same packages used in this theme, and keep these in sync with other developers.
Packages & Plugins
These should come pre-installed with the theme. If packages are missing, run npm install inside the directory (or try npm update).
Plugins can be downloaded within Wordpress and area usually prepackaged in our internal projects.
